I made it! I really enjoyed this.....learned so much. Didn't realize how much time it would take but I think it was well worth the it.
I would have never set up a Blog or even attempted it. Some of this stuff I will never use but I really enjoyed Flickr and Del.icio.us (I'm sure I'll put them to use or at least I know how).
Bring on the next discovery program.

I've heard of both Facebook & MySpace but had never taken the time to investigate. I had also heard on the news that many parents were using these sites to check out their collage freshman's new roommates.....I can see where that would be very helpful. Also can see where some kids could really ruin their reputations or potential careers.
Great networking tool but I can see where someone could get hooked.

Not sure if I'd ever use this....but you never know. I did find a podcast called "Open Stacks", in the one that I listened to talked about podcasts. I can see how this would be a great training tool.

I think I made this a lot harder than it should be.....saw some "very" interesting videos. I'm sure you could do all kinds of training and library tours with this.

I love pandora.com. Thought it was very easy to find and listen to the music that I like.
Not sure how this could be useful in the Library setting other than it would make my day go faster listening to some good music.

Okay I think I get the wiki thing.......maybe.
I did find out that the number one song the day that I was born was "Mrs. Brown you've got a lovely daughter".
I can think of a few things a wiki could have been used for but I won't go into that right now.

I liked this line from Away from the"icebergs". "All are remnants of a bygone information age, practices and attitudes that no longer make sense but which we have difficulty letting go." Made me think that the author my have spent some time here in Alden.
Change can be a good thing and if we didn't have it what a boring place this would be...........we would have missed out on all the construction noises that we have heard the past few years. lol
2.0 is a chance for us to see the tip of the "iceberg" as far as technology. I know I've enjoyed the journey so far......hope there's no rough waters ahead.

Well, I'm sure this will come in handy someday when I have more time to "play" around with it. I like how you get the blog and visual posts. Need to add Technorati to my to learn list.

Wow, I love this. Del.icio.us will let me access my "favorites" from anywhere.
I'm sure I'll use this to keep all of my recipes together and organized. I actually created an account........now I just hope I remember to use it.

Liked checking out some of the news sites that I use to see if the local ones had the RSS like. Not many did. I'll be more aware of this in the future.

Well, this wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. RSS will come in very handy when wanting current info.

Technology

Boy have I learned a lot these past few weeks. I've really enjoyed Flickr, now maybe I can do something creative with all of my photos. Not so sure about this blogging stuff.....never been one to put my thoughts in writing.
I'm ready for whatever comes next........I think.

#3 Viewing problems as challenges would have to my easiest habit. I so love a good problem to solve.
